Spire Employees Help Out at Local Gleaners Food Bank

Each month employees have an opportunity to serve an organization that serves the surrounding community. This month, a group from Spire helped out at the Detroit area Gleaners Food Bank. They organized and staged shipments of food for area organizations feeding the hungry.
Each year, Gleaners distributes millions of pounds of food through their network of partner pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, senior centers and other agencies that directly feed hungry people. They also reach neighbors in need through mobile distributions and programs that are designed to directly reach children.
